Let this Turkey Sausage Hash mix up your breakfast rotation! Boredom with breakfast is one of the biggest complaints we receive from patients, but there are truly many options you can incorporate into your morning meal. You don’t even need to stick inside the “breakfast box” and have breakfast food for breakfast! You could have leftovers from dinner if you like! C’mon. We know you had cold pizza for breakfast at least once in your life before WeightWise, so what’s so bad about a little leftover chicken?

This is also a really great option if you are just sick and tired of eggs!

The best part is that it all comes together pretty quickly and you only need to use a couple dishes to cook it all. It keeps well in the refrigerator for a few days and reheats wonderfully to enjoy all week. This is a great meal prep recipe.

Turkey Sausage Hash

  1. Preheat your pan on medium-high heat.
  2. Place your turkey sausage into the pan and smash into fine pieces as it cooks.
  3. Dice & slice your vegetables while the turkey sausage is cooking.
  4. Remove the turkey sausage from the pan for a few moments, and add the onions and mushrooms to the pan. Cook until tender.
  5. Add the zucchini to the mixture and cook until tender.
  6. Add the turkey sausage back to the pan, season with salt and pepper as needed, and mix thoroughly. Portion into containers to have for breakfast all week!
