The holidays are always a challenge. Whether you are fresh out of having your weight loss surgery, a veteran sleeve patient, or working toward a bypass, the types of foods you eat matter. The holidays can be more trying when you are around family and friends who do not understand your restrictions.

In order to have the best holiday season possible, have a conversation with your loved ones about your restrictions. Tell them the types of foods that are best for you. Offer to make a few dishes that are bariatric friendly for the group to try.
