No tortilla needed — large deli salami slices wrap around a cheesy scrambled egg with salsa and avocado for a protein-packed breakfast that takes five minutes flat.   • 2–3 slices large deli salami
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice 2% cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp salsa
  • ¼ avocado, sliced (optional)
  • salt & black pepper, to taste

    Cook the egg

    Heat a small skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray. Crack the egg into the skillet and immediately break the yolk with a fork — spreading it so the egg cooks flat and even rather than in a dome. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the bottom is set.

    Flip & melt the cheese

    Flip the egg carefully and immediately lay the slice of cheddar on top. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the egg is cooked through. Remove from heat.

    Assemble & wrap

    Lay 2–3 salami slices slightly overlapping on a plate to create a wide enough base to wrap. Place the cheesy egg in the center. Add the salsa and avocado slices if using. Fold the salami slices up and over the filling — it won't be a perfect wrap and that's completely fine. Eat immediately.

  • Use large deli salami: The bigger the salami slice, the better it works as a wrap — look for the large round deli variety rather than the smaller cocktail size. Two to three slices layered slightly overlapping gives you enough coverage to fold over the filling.
  • Break the yolk immediately: Spreading the broken yolk flat right when the egg hits the pan gives you a thin, even egg that fits inside the wrap much better than a thick rounded egg would.
  • Swap the deli meat: This wrap works equally well with large slices of deli turkey, ham, or pepperoni — any deli meat that comes in a large enough round slice to fold over the filling. Turkey is the most WeightWise-friendly option.
  • Salsa is the sauce: A good chunky salsa adds moisture and flavor without any extra prep — it's the perfect condiment for this wrap. Hot sauce works great too for a spicier version.
  • Double it: Two eggs and double the fillings for a more substantial breakfast — use 4–6 salami slices as the base and stack two cheesy eggs in the center before wrapping.
