Happy Fall Season everyone! It is the first day of Fall and I am ready to pack away the flip flops and sunscreen for better days. Summer was good to me this year and while I loved spending sunshine filled days exploring our wonderful city with Mr. A…I’m dreaming about cool nights and warm blankets.

There is a certain magic about the Fall season, don’t you think? So much to look forward to….

  • Cool evening walks
  • Drinking coffee next to an open window or on my favorite patio at Shartel Cafe.
  • Boots and comfy sweaters
  • Pie pumpkins are in season! (recipe overload coming soon)
  • Football and football gatherings
  • Pecans falling from my tree
  • Less time mowing!

What do you love most about Fall?

No matter how much I love the Fall season, it is directly synonymous with football season in my house. Since you can’t beat it here in Oklahoma, might as well join it, right? So football parties on Saturday and Sunday are pretty common for us. This recipe for Sweet Sriracha Chicken Wings is one of my favorites for these parties…it is fall off the bone good. The recipe feeds several people, good party food, travels well, and is high in protein! That’s a win- win, win-win in my book. I originally found this recipe from https://theslowroasteditalian.com/ and adapted it to be a lower sugar/carb version. Try the Sweet Sriracha Chicken Wings next weekend…you won’t be disappointed.
