Hamburger helper was kind of a staple in my house growing up. Something quick and easy that my mom could make that we all loved. This recipe is a low carb option for all of my fellow hamburger helper lovers out there. Who would of thought that cabbage would be such a great substitute for noodles. This recipe was quick and easy! Chopping the cabbage took the most time (and cleaning up my mess after lol), but it was well worth it! I hope you all enjoy :)!

- 1/2 yellow onion diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes

Instructions
- Get out all of your ingredients for easy accessibility. Dice your onion.
- Brown the ground turkey with the diced onion.
- While the meat and onions are cooking, dice up your cabbage (warning, you will probably make a slight mess with the cabbage 🙂 ).
- Add the cabbage, water, diced tomatoes, and seasoning to the meat and onions. I suggest using a big pot, I had to transfer everything to a big pot due to all of the cabbage not fitting in the original. Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
- While the cabbage is cooking, start on the cheese sauce. First, melt the butter in a sauce pan. Then add in the cream cheese and half and half. Whisk together until smooth.
- Turn off the burner and whisk in the cheese. Once the sauce is whisked together and smooth, add it to the meat and cabbage (once it is finished cooking). Mix all together and enjoy :)!
