Weight Loss Success Story Melissa Linville
Describe your life before you had Weight Loss Surgery.
“I was tired all the time. I have a daughter which is a Girl Scout and I could go hiking or kayaking or much of any activities with her and it made me sad. Bad knees, sleep apnea and smoking made me feel under the weather and tires all the time.”
How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in?
“Several years. I was worried about not having the satisfaction that food gives me when I’m depressed or even bored. I knew it would be a drastic change in my lifestyle. I saw the success in my wife and sister getting the surgery and they helped inspire me to get it done so that I can be more active with my daughter.”
What was it like to work with our team?
“Wonderful. The entire Weightwise team were so attentive. They never made me feel like a failure and encouraged me instead. They have always made me believe I can make this change successfully. Even now, a year later they continue to encourage me to keep going in my journey to be healthy.”
Describe your life now, after Weight Loss Surgery:
“I love being able to walk 10k steps a day without even realizing I walked 10k steps. It is just a normal thing now, not a goal. And I do it without being in pain or feeling exhausted. I sleep so much better too”
