I want to challenge you this week in the area of time. Make exercise a priority this week. You make time for things you want to make time for, yes it is just that simple! 🙂 It is all about choices.
I want you to find an additional 20 minutes a day to get activity in on top of your 4 times a week 30 minutes. It can be walking on your lunch break, get up 20 minutes earlier, walk after work, go to the fair, except no snacking :). I know 50 minutes sound like a lot, but break it up. Try it and see how different you feel and how much more energy you have and how well you sleep. Remember, if you don’t challenge yourself, it won’t change you.
Also, start thinking about setting some goals like some 5ks or a walking club. The Susan G. Koman race for the cure is coming up in October. I have also heard several clients talk about another color me rad coming up. It is always easier to have accountability. My running group is meeting this Saturday at 6:30 a.m. at Mitch Park in Edmond, you don’t have to run but you can walk the course!
