Amidst the craziness of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to remember your goals.

Here are some options to help keep you on track even if you are not able to leave your house.

If you live in a rural area (or far enough away from large crowds to where you are comfortable), try to walk outside (if weather and physical ability are permitting) for 30 minutes to escape from the chaos of what is going on around us.

If going outside to walk is not an option, I am going to link some YouTube exercise videos that are good alternatives to help keep you on track.

 

  • Leslie Sansone:

    • Type “Leslie Sansone” in the search bar on YouTube and there will be a multitude of videos for you to pick from!
      • These videos range from 20-30 minutes of cardio. They are low impact and include a warm-up and cool-down.
      • If you’re more of a distance over time person, she also has videos that are geared towards walking a certain number of miles.
      • There are hundreds of videos to choose from

 

  • Body Project:

    • Type “Body Project” in the search bar on YouTube. The subscription page will appear and you can pick from the videos available.
      • There is an option to join this program. Do not feel obligated to do so (see below)
      • IF you are not interested, but like the workouts, they upload their videos to YouTube every so often and they are completely free.

 

  • HASfit:

    • Type “HASfit” in the search bar on YouTube.
    • Scroll to the “beginner workouts” category.
      • ***Even if you are not a beginner, start out with the beginner videos to ensure that your heart rate is not exceeding your optimal fat burning range.
      • If beginner exercises are not challenging enough, try the other videos but STILL NO WEIGHT TRAINNING unless otherwise specified.

 

  • POPSUGAR Fitness:

    • Type “POPSUGAR fitness” in the search bar on YouTube.
      • If you like Zumba, these are the workouts for you!!
      • For all levels of exercise
