These yogurt heart pops might not match up to getting a box of chocolates, but they are fun to make! This recipe is super simple, with minimal ingredients and you can dress it up, if you want. The heart mold tray can be found at large chain grocery chains or online. Greek yogurt is a great source of protein, some recommended brands are the Oikos Triple Zero, Dannon Light and Fit, and Too Good. These brands are higher in protein, low to no sugar, and have a good variety of flavors to pick from.

If you want to omit the fruit you can add seeds instead. Remember seeds are a healthy fat (be mindful of portion sizes), and with the yogurt, it gives a balance of protein + healthy fat. This balance makes a snack more fulfilling and satisfying.

*Note: If you are in the process of weight loss, omit the fruit and add in seeds to have balance with healthy fat and protein. For weight loss, it is recommended to avoid natural sugars. Please contact your dietitian if you have any questions or concerns.

Have a ~sweet~ Valentine’s Day!
