Thanksgiving in my family does not necessarily mean turkey, but it does mean ham. A deliciously, wonderful ham. There are so many ways to make a ham…between herb crusted baked ham or a glazed ham you can’t go wrong.
This recipe for Herb Crusted Baked Ham is one that my mother has made for years upon years. Plus, it is a cinch to make. I dare you not to like it!
Herb Crusted Baked Ham
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Combine parsley, thyme, rosemary, herbs de provence, salt and pepper in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped and well combined. (*If you don't have a food processor, finely chop all fresh herbs and combine with rest of ingredients.)
Brush ham with olive oil using basting brush or hands and season with herb mix.
Place ham in a large roast pan and cover with foil (Foil should be tented above the ham)
Bake for about 10-12 minutes per pound (or look at the label for baking time instructions).
Remove from oven and let rest for 20-30 minutes. Slice and serve.
