One skillet meals are amazing. They are amazing in a “fewer dishes to clean” kind of way. Plus they are usually ready in a snap which makes everyone happy. This recipe for beef and cabbage has great flavor from the bay leaves and is even better the next day as leftovers!

- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 cup carrots sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 bay leaves

Instructions
- Spray large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium high heat.
- Coarsely chop onion. Add to the skillet with ground beef. Cook until meat is browned.
- Chop cabbage and slice carrots while meat is cooking.
- Add salt, pepper, bay leaves, cabbage, and carrots to beef.
- Cover and cook on low for approximately 20 minutes (until cabbage is tender) stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf and serve immediately.
