One skillet meals are amazing. They are amazing in a “fewer dishes to clean” kind of way. Plus they are usually ready in a snap which makes everyone happy. This recipe for beef and cabbage has great flavor from the bay leaves and is even better the next day as leftovers!

Instructions
  1. Spray large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium high heat.
  2. Coarsely chop onion. Add to the skillet with ground beef. Cook until meat is browned.
  3. Chop cabbage and slice carrots while meat is cooking.
  4. Add salt, pepper, bay leaves, cabbage, and carrots to beef.
  5. Cover and cook on low for approximately 20 minutes (until cabbage is tender) stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf and serve immediately.
