Weightwise Bariatric Protein Bars
All Bars: WeightWise Bariatric Protein Bars
All of WeightWise’s bariatric bars pack a protein punch. Choosing the right one for you means discussing your bariatric diet options with your doctor and/or dietitian — and then choosing your favorite flavor.
From this page, you can access our yummy and healthy Protein Bars and VLC Crisp Bars. On other pages, you’ll notice we also provide a few more options: PowerCrunch Protein Bars, and Wafer Protein Bars.
You’ll find more info about the Wafer Protein Bars and the PowerCrunch Protein Bars on their respective pages linked above.
Here, we’ll focus on the Protein Bars and the VLC Crisp Protein Bars. Both can be a good addition to a bariatric diet.
As always, you can make wise choices in consultation with your doctor. If you have any questions about these items or any of the items available in our store, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team.
Protein and Very Low Carb Bars
WeightWise Protein Bars and the VLC (Very Low Carb) Crisp are some of our more popular items. They are compact, easy to carry and feature a pretty great variety of flavors.
Each type of protein bar at WeightWise is meant for weight loss patients. They can be a meal replacement or a heavy snack.
The Protein Bars in particular have between 150 calories and 170 calories. Plus, these bars come jam-packed with between 10 grams and 15 grams of protein.
These are the flavors available in the Protein Bars:
- Caramel Crunch
- Dark Chocolate S'mores
- Lemon Meringue
- Marshmallow Brownie Crisp
- Peanut Butter
- Peppermint Cocoa Crunch
- Sweet & Salty Peanut
VLC Crisp Protein Bars
VLC (“very low carb”) bars will satisfy a sweet tooth while helping keep your carb intake down. Each bar is snackable but hefty enough to be a meal replacement for some patients. (Follow your doctor’s and dietitian’s recommendations!)
Each of these bars contains 15 grams of protein and as little as 5 net carbs or 10 net carbs. It’s available in two tasty flavors:
- Fluffy Nutter
- Salted Toffee Pretzel

With all bariatric dietary foods, you’ll want to get into the habit of reading the ingredient list for relevant information. This can include added sugars (plus overall grams of sugar), grams of fiber, protein, sources of artificial sweeteners (if any), sea salt, gluten-free, sugar alcohols, and more.
Remember: Unlike many vegan protein bars, snack bars, energy bars, plant-based protein bars, and others, the bars we offer are recommended for post-bariatric-surgery patients.
