If any of you have read through or cook any of the recipes that I publish, then you are well aware that as little clean-up as possible is ideal when it comes to week night dinners. This recipe is just that! One cutting board, knife, pot, and a measuring spoon. Makes clean up a breeze! The bonus for this recipe is that it also tastes good! As long as you like cabbage of course.
Smoked Sausage and Cabbage
Brown the sliced turkey sausage on both sides.
While the sausage is browning, chop the cabbage and slice your onion. Add the onion and cabbage in with the turkey sausage. Mix in the apple cider vinegar.
Cook on medium low heat, covered, until the cabbage is cooked to your liking (I like to leave mine a little crunchy).
Add Dijon mustard to the entire recipe, or you can add it just to your serving if others do not like mustard.
